About last night…

Ghazal’s founder, Houda Ghazal hosted a very special evening with top model, Dennis Okwera at The House of KOKO in London last night to celebrate Dennis’ charity The Lumule Foundation & the launch of The Amal Jewellery Collection.

Special guests arrived in troves to celebrate Ghazal’s first fashion jewellery collection, including Ellie Golding, Alex Eagle, Georgiana Huddart, Tiny Tempah, DJ AJ Odudu, Philip Colbert, and Jack Davidson to name but a few.

The Ghazal X Lumule Foundation Dinner

Houda has recently been appointed as Director of the Lumule Foundation, to support Dennis who is determined to help his community, Lumule, back in northern Uganda access the basic education and opportunities needed to succeed in life, after a devastating 30-year civil war, forgotten by the mainstream media.

The Inspiration

“The AW23 Jewel collection has been in the making for quite some time. The brand’s iconic pictogram was the inspiration, derived from a lower case ‘g’ with a dot above, which in Arabic is pronounced a ‘Gh’ sound, the curves and turns of the pieces are designed to delicately embrace and outline the body” says Ghazal’s founder, Houda.
